Terri Bryant

Terri is the Secretary of the Jackson County Republican Central Committee and Chaplain of the Jackson County Republican Women’s Club. In 2008, she served as a delegate to the Illinois Republican Convention where she was on the Committee to Appoint Presidential Electors. The committee appointed her as a John McCain Presidential Elector at that convention.

 In 2009, Terri was accepted as a Fellow and then graduated from the Illinois Lincoln Excellence in Public Service Series. She was appointed to the Board of Governors for that organization in 2010 and was elected President in 2011.

In early 2010 she was asked to be a part of the Illinois Republican Party Coalitions Teams headed by National Committee Woman Demetra Demonte.  A few months later Terri was asked by National Committee Woman Demonte to serve as Coordinator of Women’s Coalitions for the Coalitions Team. In September, 2010 Terri was appointed as Coordinator of the Coalitions Team for the Illinois Republican Party.

Ms. Bryant is employed by the Illinois Department of Corrections where she serves as the Dietary Manager at both the Pinckneyville Correctional Center and DuQuoin Impact Incarceration Program. She serves as a member of the Illinois Department of Corrections Religious Practices Advisory Board and as an internal as well as external auditor for IDOC. Terri also serves on the Executive Board of the ISEA/ Laborers Local 2002.

Terri resides in Murphysboro with her husband Rick. She has one son Tyler who is a student at Murphysboro High School and one daughter Tara (Clint) Chamness.  She has two granddaughters.
